june favorites

i recently joined up with some very amazing ladies to do a blog circle just for summer. we're going to choose our favorites for each month and post them. i feel that this will be a way for me to keep up with my daily shooting...something that i've really missed doing.

spring? summer? i miss you...

i miss the warm days of spring and summer, where the kids can run around barefoot and stay outside until after dark. where you can go with short sleeves, or no sleeves. when you can smell suntan lotion and hamburgers on the grilll. where the sun comes out to play all. day. long. and the colors. the glorious, glorious, colors.

in the breeze

it was unusually warm that day and there was a soft breeze. i had just learned how to put her hair up in a topknot and wanted to mark the occasion. she protested for a second, but in the end didn't mind one bit. she also sang her favorite song from moana....so that worked for me too.
