i recently had the amazing opportunity to capture friend and fellow (amazing) photographer, allison mcsorley's family. after having to change plans several times due to really really awful weather, we finally all met up. believe it or not, these were all taken after it had rained (again), but the skies had cleared enough for us to take these. no sun, unfortunately, but her gorgeous family still shined.
so, this came as a complete shock. i actually saw the link to the list on clickinmom's instagram feed (in stories) and i clicked it, just figuring i'd see names of others who made it. turned to page three and i was honestly surprised to see my name listed among the amazeball talent. it really made my week. head on over and take a gander at the names on there...i found some really fantastic photographers to follow on IG that i hadn't been following. click here to take you there.
it sometimes takes me a little while to get back into the swing of things. so here's a few of my favorite images i've taken this last couple of months.
a couple of months back, we gathered up the kids in search of this sunflower field. we drove for (what felt like) forever and finally arrived. it. was. packed. people everywhere. we had to wait a bit in order to get shots of just the kids and the flowers, but it was worth it.
we visited a farm in october and i'm finally getting around to posting about it! the kids had a blast and there wasn't a video game in sight.
